Mel's Scentsible Solutions

Melanie Press is an Aromatherapist, Massage Therapist and Registered Nurse who currently owns and runs Mel's Scentsible Solutions in Ashford, a small rural town in northern NSW. Melanie has used these natural products for herself, family and animals for many years prior to opening her clinic which provides everyone with the option of benefiting!

She is passionate about people staying well and healthy, rather than becoming sick and trying to get better again. This passion has developed over many years through experiencing several accidents and illnesses (some life-threatening) that required medical intervention. The combination of conventional and complementary therapies during these times has paved the way for easier recovery and better quality of life.

She has nursed for 20 years, first as an Assistant Nurse, then later as a Registered Nurse in many areas, but her favourite has been in aged care and community settings, where she saw first-hand what effects poor quality of life and powerlessness can have on people.

Because of this, she studied complementary therapies (including Aromatherapy, Remedial Massage Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Reiki, Reflexology, Sports Therapy and Nutrition) that work with, rather than replace, conventional medical practices to ensure that clients can blend their health management choices, thus providing a complete overview encouraging clients to have the knowledge, confidence and self-empowerment to achieve and maintain overall health and wellness.
